White Bear Lake

White Bear Lake

from 20.00

About the Lake:

Just a 20 minute drive from St. Paul, White Bear Lake is one of the largest lakes in the Twin Cities metro area. Dakota and Ojibwe Indians were the earliest inhabitants of the area and their folklore is deeply interwoven into its history—most notably the Legend of the Manitou. In fact, White Bear Lake derives its name from this fascinating tale of love, the quest for peace, and a large white bear.

About the Series:

Designed using depth maps from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, DEPTHS is a series of minimalist graphical lake prints.
