Church Message Series | St. Anthony, MN
In January 2018, Grove (a Twin Cities-based church) was going to be casting vision for their congregation in the new year and needed visuals to support a message, appropriately titled, Vision 2018. We wanted our work to capture the excitement and potential of the year ahead and likened it to a surfer patiently waiting for his/her wave (i.e. the image choice). For the logo, we looked to the iconic wordmarks of widescreen filming technologies (that conveyed a greater sense of cinematic scale) introduced in 1950s and 60s film and paired it with understated stylistic elements being used by brands like Adidas and Supreme.
