Hello! We're Ethan & Rachel, co-owners of Half Acre House and happily married best friends. Named after our beloved first home set on a half acre of land, we founded Half Acre House with the same heart and values that we wanted reflected in our own home—a space of genuine welcome brimming with kindness that honors the story of everyone who enters its doors.
Both of us, along with our talented team of photographers, are wholehearted believers in the power of story. We see it as an honor and a privilege to document every story we’re trusted with and so we approach each one with as much honesty, care, excellence, and artistry as possible. The official mascot of Half Acre House. Popcorn addict and MVP of the anti-cuddle club. Answers to the name Joney, Bubs, and Boo-Boo. Believed to be an Enneagram 6.

Our resident creative jack of all trades and business manager. Trivia obsessed, half marathon-er, and Spielberg fanboy. Also moonlights as kndfutr. A textbook Enneagram 1.
